A few of our favorite tips from the checklist:
- PCS season is the perfect excuse to go through old toys, clothes, and kitchenware. Every box you don’t ship is a box you don’t have to unpack.
- Ask whether you can ship your motorcycle with your household goods. On our moves, it could be packed right in with our HHG.
- Leave hanging clothes on their hangers. Bundle a handful together and pull a big trash bag over them to keep them clean, then hang them straight up at the new house. Self-pack your TVs in their original boxes and foam, with a towel in front of the screen.
